Lowlands Bourbon Celebration with San Antonio Zoo

Mark your calendars to celebrate the release of Lowlands Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey, a conservation collaboration with San Antonio Zoo, at Ranger Creek Distillery on September 26th. There will be some special animal guests from the Animal Ambassador Team of San Antonio Zoo from 6-7pm, so be sure to get to the event early. Lowlands is a collaboration between San Antonio Zoo and Ranger Creek Brewing & Distilling. This limited-edition B’Wenzi Lowlands Whiskey was crafted exclusively for San Antonio Zoo and a portion of proceeds from every bottle sold will directly support wildlife conservation efforts. Curated by San Antonio Zoo, the handcrafted Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey is made with Texas-sourced grains, aged in charred oak barrels, and finished in amburana barrels, creating a bold, sweet-bodied spirit with notes of cinnamon, maple syrup, and vanilla. The bourbon’s name honors the seven Western lowland gorillas living in San Antonio Zoo’s new Congo Falls habitat Schnitzel Box will be the food truck serving this event!
