After this session, you will be able to: -Understand how global economic trends, capital flows, currencies, and government regulations can impact your local real estate market. -Identify international business opportunities within your own market and better serve globally connected buyers and sellers. -Adapt your real estate skills to communicate and work effectively with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. -Develop strategies for marketing your global business and building an international referral network. -Recognize differences in real estate practices around the world and navigate cross-border business with greater confidence. -Use networking, social media, trade shows, and trade missions to create new global connections and business opportunities. You don't have to sell property overseas to work in global real estate. International buyers, sellers, investors, and economic forces are already influencing local markets. This course will give you the foundation to recognize those opportunities, build stronger relationships with diverse clients, and begin developing a global real estate business from your own local market. Global Real Estate: Local Markets is the prerequisite course for the CIPS Designation and must be completed before taking any other CIPS courses. Upon completion, you will also receive elective credit toward the ABR® and CRS designations.
