Speed Chess Qualifier Event: One night, OTB, 5-Round, Double Swiss System Sections: Qualifier Qualifier Section: 5-Round, Double Swiss System Membership: Unrated, no membership required Time Control: G/5+0 Entry Fee: $5 (FREE for CSCC Supporting Members) Prizes: 1st place winner will qualify for the 31st City Speed Chess Championship Information: Players will be seeded for the 31st City Speed Chess Championship (December 29th) as follows: 1. 2025 Champion – Rhett Langseth 2. 2025 Challenger winner – Jonathan Brown 3. 2025 Challenger runner-up – Joel Brown 4.
