Science Themed Trivia: The Haunted Secrets of the Brain

The Haunted Secrets of The Brain Thursday, October 21st at 7 pm Join us for a spooky night of science-themed trivia, where you’ll be tested on your knowledge on myths versus facts, neuroscience history, science fiction, and the mysteries of the brain. ALL are welcome, please bring family and friends and dress up in a costume for the chance to win best dressed, along with prizes for the top three winning teams. This is the fifth year the GSU Neuroscience PhD students have hosted trivia at Red’s. Their mission? To collaborate with the community, translating neuroscience research into relevant service and policy efforts. We love ‘em! Come support ‘em! To play, they are only asking for a donation: $5 to the Center for Behavioral Neuroscience (CBN) at GSU OR bring 2 unopened supplies items for donation. If donating prior to the event, please take a screenshot of your confirmation to show us at check-in. — We'll have our food menu available, with the best hot dogs in town, and have over 200 types of beer, wine, cider, mead, hard kombucha & seltzer and non-alcoholic options for everyone. Free parking is available in the Grant Park Clinic lot, located immediately to the right (south) of Red’s. There is also a gravel lot directly behind the clinic/church that our guests are welcome to use. Additional parking is available in front of Red’s or along Benteen Way, which is about a 0.1 mile walk to the left (north) of Red’s. Please do not park in front of Iglesia Pentecostal El Tabernaculo de Restauracion or across the street on Warmbreeze Road. Cars parked in those areas may be towed. Love your pup? Dogs are not allowed inside but are welcome in the outdoor beer garden. There is direct access to the beer garden along the south side of our building. Follow the concrete path through the bamboo forest.
