Tours Outdoors

Wild Wonders: A Close Encounter with Native Animals Please join us on Fridays at 1:30pm and Saturdays at 11am or 1pm for a tour through our Native Animal Area and get a closer look at our animal ambassadors and what makes them important in our ecosystem. Take a look into the lives of animals native to East Tennessee in this interactive tour through our Native Animal Area. You can interact with and learn about species like bobcats, raptors, and red wolves. Our knowledgeable wildlife staff and volunteers lead the program, sharing fascinating details about these animals' habits, habitats, the vital role each species plays in the ecosystem, and the importance of wildlife conservation efforts. Sign up As an outdoor facility, our programs and events are almost always dependent on the weather. We are also a force-free facility, so if one of our animal ambassadors isn't interested in participating in a program, we'll respect that and offer our audience a great alternative. We appreciate your understanding if your program changes. In the event of severe weather, programs may have to be cancelled.
