Banned Books Week

Look. We are tired. We do not want to be bothered. And neither do the books. This year for Banned Books Week (Oct 4th through 10th), we want to Let Books Be. Support Texas Literacy and protect the freedom to read by donating to our banned books program. Our 100% donor-funded banned books program provides free banned books to young people of central Texas, ages 9-17. How does it work? Visit the back wall of our store. Pick a card for a book you want to read. Bring card to a bookseller. Bookseller trades the card for a book The book is yours to read! (You can bring it back if you’d like, but it is not required).
