Who’s Ready to Enter the Tank? The Ridgefield Economic & Community Development Commission (ECDC) is excited to announce the return of Tiger Shark Tank 5, the fifth annual live business pitch competition celebrating entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic growth. Since its launch in 2022, Tiger Shark Tank has become one of Ridgefield’s signature economic development events, providing entrepreneurs with an opportunity to showcase their ideas before a panel of accomplished executives, investors, and business leaders while gaining valuable feedback, publicity, and community exposure. Applicants will have the opportunity to compete for approximately $5,000 in prizes and present their business concepts to a distinguished panel of judges. Previous judging panels have included CEOs of global corporations, founders of nationally recognized companies, private equity investors, and accomplished entrepreneurs. Past Tiger Shark Tank winners have included InterPrice Technologies, Pop Art! Kids, and Ideal Home Innovations, businesses that leveraged the competition’s visibility and feedback to continue growing their ventures. The evening will begin with a networking reception, providing entrepreneurs, business owners, investors, and community members the opportunity to connect before the live presentations begin. Tiger Shark Tank 5 is open to Ridgefield residents, Ridgefield business owners, and aspiring entrepreneurs looking to start a business in Ridgefield. Eligible participants include startups, small businesses, nonprofits, student entrepreneurs, and established businesses with innovative ideas. This is a rental of our facility.
