Clown 201 – Clown Eyes (Tuesdays 7/14-8/18 @6:30pm-9:15pm)

*Clown 101 not required for registration* Clown is tool, not only on stage, but in life. Failure is a blessing, connection is a super power, and nothing is serious. This class helps you put on your clown eyes to find the play and vulnerability in each moment. Together we will explore the brain of a clown and how to create clown acts. Everyone is a clown, they just don’t know it yet. Let’s find yours! All levels of experience welcome. Instructor: Kii Clark is an award winning performer and innovative instructor in Denver for the last 3 years. They studied clown and mask work at the Pig Iron Theater School in Philadelphia after teaching themself how to clown. Kii is as passionate about teaching as they are making a fool of themself. They come at clown through a more traditional lens from their Lecoq training and learning from the masters by studying their performances. |
