Level 101 is a class dedicated to FUN and finding yourself as an improviser. You’ll explore the core concept of “Yes, And…” and how it relates to life both onstage and offstage. You’ll discover ways to hear and enhance your inner voice. Most of all, you’ll have a BLAST! Prerequisite: All Levels are Welcome! Student Showcase: Monday May 18th (Date is subject to change) Instructor: Amanda Eckert has been improvising in Denver since 2013, getting her start at Impulse Theater with some of the city’s finest improvisers. She found her comedic home at Rise Comedy in 2014, where she’s been performing in a wide variety of comedy shows since- with Hitchcocktails holding a special place in her heart. A teacher by trade, Amanda loves sharing the joy of improv through teaching and leading workshops to both adults and children. When not performing, you can probably find her getting her eardrums blown out from some EDM music (just kidding she has very good ear plugs) or out exploring this beautiful state!
