In Level 201 you will begin to work with your fellow improvisers and discover the joy of creating scenes together. You’ll learn how to construct honest and believable characters, environments, and scene flows. You’ll experiment with focus and listening. Most of all, you’ll have FUN! Prerequisite: A Completed 101 or Education Director Approval Student Showcase: Monday, May 18th (Date is subject to change) Instructor: Jacob Sorling is an actor and award winning filmmaker from Los Angeles, CA originally by way of Alamosa, CO. Jacob is a graduate of Adams State University with a B.A. in Theatre. He’s a graduate of iO West, UCBLA, and The Second City Hollywood. He trained in scene work under Eric Hunicutt (Steppenwolf West, The Savannah College Of Art And Design) and clowning under Jet Eveleth (Clown Church LA). Jacob has performed at Utah Shakespeare Festival and you can see Jacob as a member of the improvisation duo, Buddy Puzzle. They’ve performed all over the United States at various comedy festivals.
