In Level 401 you’ll learn to recognize the pattern that scenes naturally create and learn how to exploit the tool of heightening to maximize the pattern’s impact in the scene. Prerequisite: Level 301 Student Showcase: Monday, May 18th (date is subject to change) Instructor: Alex Nichols has been improvising since 2005, when he founded his high school’s improv team. In Chicago, he was a member of several Harold teams at iO and performed at theaters around the city including The Playground, the Annoyance, and CIC, where he co-produced a weekly show with his independent team, Law Dog. He now performs regularly at RISE Comedy as a member of the shortform team Laugh Track and as one half of the longform duo Wrong Matt.
