Palm trees, crashing waves, the roar of the ocean…heaven. This class will focus on depicting moving water, cloudy skies and sandy beaches. Maybe even a sunset. Learn to paint with paper. We will all work from the same image. Goals: -Learn basic analog (cut by hand) paper collage techniques. -Basic cutting and gluing, building layers to create depth. -Complete or build the foundation for a 9 X 12 finished piece. I will supply: wood panels, many types and colors of paper, scissors, gel medium, foam brush, gloves. Student supplies: -Any personal items such as photo (copies) or small personal items to attach. – Extra colorful papers, magazines, etc. that have a variety of colors and textures. – Apron or clothes you do mind getting a little glue on. – A beverage and snack.
