Wed, April 15 @ 6:19 am Discover the wonders of one of our local natural treasures during Science Saturday: Wonders of the Wichita River at River Bend Nature Center. Participants will take a guided hike to the Wichita River in Lucy Park to explore river ecosystems, learn why healthy waterways are so important, and investigate the science of river water through simple hands-on experiments. Guests will also have the chance to get creative with a river clay tie-dye activity. Bring your own white T-shirt to dye, or use a bandanna provided by River Bend. Date: April 18 Time: 1:00–2:00 PM Location: River Bend Nature Center This program is for ages K-8th and is included with general admission. Science Saturday begins at 1 pm, and it is not a come-and-go program. General admission: $8 | Children: $6 | Seniors, Teachers, Military, First Responders (with ID): $7 | Children 1 and Under and RBNC members: free.
