Hadestown

Winner of eight Tony Awards®, including Best Musical, Hadestown is the Broadway sensation that redefined modern musical theatre. Created by visionary singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell, whose folk-inspired score and poetic storytelling drive the production, the show blends folk, jazz, and New Orleans–inspired rhythms into an electrifying theatrical experience. With musicians performing live onstage, Hadestown intertwines the mythic tales of Orpheus and Eurydice with a powerful story of love, sacrifice, and hope in uncertain times. Both intimate and epic, the production draws audiences into a haunting journey to the underworld — and the fragile promise of returning. Praised as “spellbinding” and “a Broadway triumph,” Hadestown has captivated audiences across the country. Broadway Series Sponsored by Visit Columbus GA & Columbus Cultural Arts Alliance
