Seussical the Musical Jr.

Seussical the Musical Jr - Live in Rochester, NH! Rochester's young performers bring the magic of Seussical the Musical Jr. live to Rochester, NH! Come enjoy one of the most performed family musicals in America, reimagined for our incredibly talented youth cast. If you're looking for a fantastical, feel-good family outing in Rochester, NH, this is the show! The Story The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many “thinks.” Horton faces a double challenge: not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant. Seussical weaves a story of friendship, loyalty, and love. Despite all odds, Horton and Gertrude band together to save the Whos, free Horton, and restore peace and unity to the Jungle of Nool! The charming story of Seussical teaches us the power of being unique, and the importance of fighting for your beliefs. About the Show Now one of the most performed shows in America, Seussical is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza!
