From Rook Room Game Lounge & Cafe

When the clock strikes midnight at our upcoming Blood on the Clocktower event, there’s a very good chance the person sitting next to you may not make it out alive. Join us on the last Wednesday of each month from 5:30 to 9 PM for a night of treachery, deduction, and delightfully dramatic accusations as The Rook Room Game Lounge & Cafe transforms into the perfect stage for the wildly popular social deduction game Blood on the Clocktower. For this event, we’re diving headfirst into the Trouble Brewing scenario, the beloved beginner-friendly setup where demons lurk, minions scheme, and villagers try very, very hard not to end up dead. No experience required – just bring a willingness to play your role, spin a few tales, and maybe stab your neighbors in the back…metaphorically, of course (the real pitchforks stay at home, villagers). We will be holding a village festival starting at 5:00 PM. This is your chance to grab something to drink and eat while you mix and mingle with your fellow villagers while doing some community activities. Get to know your fellow players before all hell breaks loose when the actual gameplay begins at 6:00 PM. This is part of the experience, so all are encouraged to attend the festivities. Tickets are $15 and unlock your seat at the table. Event-exclusive drinks, including the Stroke of Midnight cocktail or its equally devious non-alcoholic counterpart, the Backstabber, will be available only during the event. Because what’s a night of betrayal without something tasty in your glass? To heighten the mood, we’re going full immersion – candlelight, spooky tunes, and eerie decor will set the stage. Two storytellers will be running two games simultaneously, so we can get as many townsfolk and evil minions involved as possible. Each game runs about 60–120 minutes, which means you’ll have time to play, plot, and maybe even grab another drink or bite to eat since we’ll have our full food, beverage, and cafe menus available. New to Blood on the Clocktower? No problem! While we recommend checking out the basics beforehand, our storytellers will guide you through every twist, turn, and dramatic gasp. What we do ask is that you come ready to commit to your role and keep the spirit of the game alive for yourself and your fellow doomed townsfolk. This is an 18+ event and contains depictions of murder that may be upsetting to some audiences. Space is also limited, and if you’ve been to any of our past events, you know seats vanish faster than a villager accused of witchcraft. So grab your ticket, sharpen your wits, and prepare to whisper in corners like a guilty minion plotting their next move. After all, in Blood on the Clocktower, everyone has a role to play…and nobody can be trusted.
