Loose and Lively: Drawing and Watermedia Painting

This course is designed to allow each student to explore drawing and watermedia alone or combined, focusing on loose adaptations of a given scene or subject. Students are encouraged to bring their own photographic references (and objects, if they wish to draw observationally in that manner), or they may work abstractly, through intuitive processes. The intention is to focus on the action, rather than the finished product, therefore offering a sense of freedom in the process. Previous experience with your medium of choice is suggested. Supplies will vary according to each student’s desire. Here are some possibilities:
