All Souls Memorial Evensong Honoring the Rev. Ephraim Avery at Christ's Church

On November 5th, Christ Church will host a candlelit evening of history, remembrance and reflection. Local historian and RHS Trustee Lear Beyer will offer a fascinating presentation on Rev. Ephraim Avery, the minister of Grace Church (now Christ’s Church) who died a brutally violent death on November 5, 1776. On the 250th anniversary of his death, Christ’s Church will hold an All Souls Memorial Evensong at which Reverend Avery will be honored. The evening includes hymns and prayers for those who have died, an altar dedication in Avery's memory and dinner and presentation with Lear Beyer. Registration is required.
