Organ concert: From Baroque to Classical Brilliance

The Friends of the Felgemaker proudly present “From Baroque to Classical Brilliance.” This event will be a grand afternoon of classical masterpieces featuring the historic Felgemaker pipe organ and an intimate chamber orchestra. The concert showcases magnificent works by three legendary 18th Century composers: George Frideric Handel, Joseph Haydn, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Performing the music will be Sacred Heart Music Center’s Resident Organist, Dr. Charles Sundquist, who will be joined by some of the region’s finest orchestral players: Laurie Bastian and Kristin Sande, violin; Kevin Hoeschen, viola; Byron Klimek, cello; Brett Linski and Madeline Miller, oboe; and Tom Pfotenhauer and Stacy Carolan, on trumpet. Come hear this chamber music program combining the thrilling power of the Felgemaker pipe organ with the grace of a chamber orchestra in Sacred Heart Music Center’s renowned acoustical space.
