2027 Dates: April 3 – May 8 Visit Cherokee Nation proudly presents the 56th Annual Trail of Tears Art Show! Experience one of the country’s most prestigious Native art shows. View and purchase a variety of authentic, award-winning works of art. The Trail of Tears Art Show is the longest-running juried Native art competition in Oklahoma. Since 1972, it has fostered the artistic expression of Native American heritage. Visit Cherokee Nation proudly presents the annual Trail of Tears Art Show! Closed for 2026, we look forward to welcoming visitors next year at the longest-running juried Native art competition in Oklahoma — and one of the most prestigious Native art shows in the country. This event has fostered the artistic expression of Native American heritage since 1972. The Gallery at Cherokee Springs Plaza 3397 Cherokee Springs Road Artist Application Closed Artists will be notified by email of their acceptance no later than March 5, 2026, and accepted works will be posted by 5 p.m. that same day.
