Join us for a Team Up to Clean Up event at Sweetwater Marsh to help protect and care for our coastal environment! Participants will pick up trash throughout the protected marsh and learn about the native plants and wildlife in the San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Help us make a difference by keeping this critical coastal habitat clean! Date: April 25, 2026 Time: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Location: Living Coast Discovery Center Meeting Location: We will meet in the Living Coast Discovery Center parking lot, located off Gunpowder Point Drive in Chula Vista, CA 91910. Once you park your vehicle, look for the Living Coast canopy for check-in!  Driving Directions: From the I-5 freeway, take exit 8B onto E St. Head west to the Living Coast Discovery Center parking lot.   Suggested Parking: Parking is available at the Living Coast Discovery Center Parking Lot.   Restrooms: The nearest restrooms are inside the Living Coast Discovery Center, near the front doors. You do not have to pay to use the restrooms, but if visitors enter the facility to see the exhibits, they must pay the admission fee.   Program Supplies: Buckets, trash bags, gloves, safety vests, and grabbers will be provided. Please make sure to bring water and wear comfortable clothes, closed-toed shoes, and sun/bug protection!
