Silent Sundays with live accompaniment on our 1924 Mighty Wurlitzer are back at the Playhouse! Silent Sundays 2026 Lineup July 26th: The Thief of Bagdad starring Douglas Fairbanks August 30th: Buster Keaton Shorts September 27th: Wings starring Clara Bow October 25th: Safety Last! starring Harold Lloyd Kicking off our new season is The Thief of Bagdad on July 26th at 2:30pm! Accompanying the film is organist Russ Peck. Mr. Peck currently performs at San Diego Symphony Hall/Jacobs Music Center for their silent film presentations and is house organist at San Diego’s Balboa Theatre. In addition to being an organist, he is principal timpanist for the Tifereth Israel Community Orchestra. Tickets are $12. Purchase a subscription in advance and see all 4 films for $37.
