Based in San Antonio, Cecil Yancey draws from a wide range of musical influences and an equally extensive background of performance experience. The Professor UnderFunk, Cecil Yancey, is a singer, musician, songwriter from San Antonio Texas. Cecil has been on stage performing since the age of 9 and has 40+ years of professional performance experience. Cecil has just completed the master recordings for his Debut Release "Elephant Tracks" and is gearing up for a promotional tour in support of his new music. Cecil is geared up to provide gaming, video, TV, radio and commercial music and songwriting for Music Supervisors, Ad Agencies and general business productions. His influences and music are reflective of such artist greats as Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Marvin Gaye Website
