Guided Beach Walk @ Sanibel Moorings

Sanibel Island offers world-class beachcombing, birding, and wildlife-watching opportunities. There is so much waiting to be discovered here! Join our knowledgeable marine science educators for a casual guided beach walk to explore what’s washed ashore. We will talk about some of the more mysterious objects we find on the beach, look for fascinating animals, and learn about shell biology. Your guide will happily answer any questions you might have along the way. No two beach walks are ever the same — the sea has a way of surprising us! Guided beachcombing walks weekly on Fridays Time: 9 – 10:30 a.m. Price: Free for Sanibel Moorings Guests / $20 per participant for general public Sanibel Moorings Guests & General Public: Reservations can be made through the office at 239-472-4119. Walk-ins are welcome, but please visit the office to register first. All programs meet at the Big Blue Chair.
