Presented in connection with a pop-up project on Oaxacan Languages of the Transnational Central Coast with the UC Santa Cruz Humanities Institute, this interactive activity will invite museum visitors to share personal stories or reflections on language, identity, and belonging. *More information on the Oaxacan Languages Pop-Up will be available soon Also on view: Borders of Belonging by Marsa Greenspan. This artwork is an appeal to orient toward wholeness amidst the fracture, laboring a paradigm of interdependence through the pain of presence. While we contend with social and ecological injustices of our past and present, is there wholeness in the justice we seek? Who and what do we exclude, and how does that impact our shared futures? Support and help spark creativity in Santa Cruz County.
