STEAM Saturday

@ SFCM’S NEW STEAM Saturday brings hands-on discovery to the Museum on the first Saturday of every month! Join us for exciting experiments, creative challenges, and interactive activities that explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Designed for curious minds of all ages, this monthly program encourages families to investigate, create, and learn together through the power of play! Celebrate National STEAM Day! Explore all five elements of STEAM through hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity! Launch paper rockets and investigate the science of flight, observe the Sun and create your own sunspot map, engineer popsicle stick catapults, express your creativity through a recycled fashion workshop, and discover the beauty of patterns with mesmerizing fractal coloring sheets. With something for every budding scientist, artist, engineer, and explorer, it’s a day full of discovery, invention, and fun! All STEAM Saturday programming is included in regular Museum admission.
