About this event
One of 60 upcoming events at Sarah P. Duke Gardens.
Develop your relationship with some well-known plants by creating a winter-themed stovetop potpourri with Sufia Ikbal-Doucet (they/them), herbalist, ritualist and energy healer. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll uncover the restorative power of plants like cinnamon, rosemary, orange and clove. Learn about their healing properties, tap into deep presence and intuition to deepen your relationship and create a personalized blend to harmonize your home and spirit. All materials will be provided for each participant to create a stovetop potpourri to take home. Fee: $42; 20% discount for Duke Gardens. Parking: Parking fees apply. Location: Pelham-Cullen Classroom inside the Barnes Welcome Center. Accessibility: This program takes place seated in an indoor location accessible via paved surfaces and equipped with a hearing loop, which transmits sound directly to hearing aids and cochlear implants with a T-coil setting. Accessible restrooms are available onsite.
