Do you have family photos stuck into “magnetic” page picture albums? Have you ever wondered if great grandma’s quilts should be folded or rolled? SCHS is hosting a workshop on preserving family photos and heirlooms like books, clothing, and quilts. SCHS Curator Sara Oostdik will be presenting best practices for photo labeling, digitization, and preservation along with helpful hints on preserving other family treasures such as textiles and printed materials. The presentation will be held in the community room at the Sauk County Historical Society on Tuesday, March 12 at 10 am and is free and open to the public.
