“By my 18th birthday, I had a #14 hit with Bubble Puppy’s “Hot Smoke and Sassafras.” Success knocked on my door again in 1980 after I co-wrote the teen anthem “Too Young to Date.” Recorded by my Austin “New Wave” band D-Day, Too Young was a #1 hit in Los Angeles, and we signed with A+M Records. We recorded our debut LP, “D-Day,” in London. In the 1990s, I joined Austin’s Beatles Tribute Band, The EggMen. In the twenty-plus years playing the Ringo guy with The EggMen, we won 11 “Austin’s Best Cover Band” Awards. I retired from The EggMen and formed my band, “David Fore & Friends.” I’m having so much fun! I’m proud of my latest CD, “I’m Too Shallow to Sing The Blues.” I hope you like it as much as I do! ~ Dave” – David Fore
