About this event
One of 133 upcoming events at Saxon Pub, and 658 across Austin.
Jennifer Harrold moved from North Canton, Ohio to Austin, Texas in December 2016. Influenced by Humbert Sumlin, Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Janis Joplin she brings the blues into a new light for the the 21st century. She’s on a constant strive for raw and powerful tone; writing originals and re-writing obscure classics. Fun facts: “JAH” are her initials. The band used to be called “JAH and the Resophonics, but changed due to people thinking we were a reggae band. Jennifer attended Akron U and Kent State University for Fine Arts. She wears Ariat Cowboy boots almost exclusively. She owns 16 guitars; mostly Fender Stratocasters. (click to view super-secret guitar biographies) Jennifer has been playing guitar for 30 years. We’ll update this again in June when it becomes another year. Jennifer uses 1.2mm White Pearl Custom Picks from Steve Clayton, Inc
