Purgatory Players benefitting The Central Texas Food Bank

The Purgatory Players have found a new home. The food truck Wrigleyville South Dogs & Beef will be adding a couple of new “brunch” items to its menu for this special occasion. We hope to see you all there! The Purgatory Players’ Gospel Brunch has formed a peace-loving army of local songsters who turn midday Sundays into a musical, community event. Through the primitive ritual of passing a tip jar, the Purgatory Players’ audience gathers to provide meals to Central Texans in need via the very efficient tendrils of the Central Texas Food Bank. The Central Texas Food Bank serves over 46,000 people every week across 21 counties. Many of their clients are children, and 67% of the households have at least one working adult. While the food bank is there to help, they are unable to meet the need by 30%. Help us continue to fight hunger in our community and donate today. Every $1 donated provides 3 meals.”
