Moth Night

This July, join us for nocturnal nature appreciation. We’ll set up a bright light that attracts moths and other nocturnal insects. We’ll see many species, but we never know exactly which species will show up until they come flapping from the forest! Tickets This event is in collaboration with Skype a Scientist. ​Skype a Scientist has a database of thousands of scientists and helps them connect with classrooms, families, libraries, scout troops, and more all over the globe! They give students the opportunity to get to know a real scientist and get the answers to their questions straight from the source. ​Event Details Meet in front of the Visitor Center for check-in. This event may sell out. Please purchase your tickets in advance to guarantee a spot. ​Things to bring: Snacks & Beverages! A chair or blanket Bug Spray!
