About this event

Tours Outdoors

Schweiger Ranch has teamed up with South Suburban Parks & Recreation District to provide free, guided walking tours led by professional naturalists from SSPRD. These tours offer insight and education into the natural environment on and around Schweiger Ranch, while offering a chance to get some fresh air and exercise. Join us as we walk to a peaceful spot on the trail to experience the rising full moon.  We’ll watch and listen for bats as they leave the barn at nightfall.  We will return to the parking lot by the light of the full moon, using our human night vision. This event is held outside and will be modified or canceled due to inclement weather or poor walking conditions.   Limited space | Registration opens on April 1st and will close on June 25th or earlier if capacity is reached.
