Feature Film Storyboards with Brick Mason

Join us as we welcome Brick Mason who has worked as a feature film storyboard artist for over 40 years. This is a background position; however it is a very influential position in cinema. The storyboard artist usually works closely with the director, and often the cinematographer. In this presentation, he'll give a description of the job and its requirements. He'll talk about his background, how he got into the field and show samples of his work. We'll get to see a video piece that shows a comparison of what he drew and what the scene in the finished movie ended up looking like. Movie enthusiasts will enjoy this behind-the-scenes look at projects with well-known directors.
