@ Storyteller Michael Peach returns to the Sedona Heritage Museum in 2026 with a new show! Michael Coyote Peach’s newest show for 2026 is “Rowdy Outlaws” featuring poems and stories about some of the southwest’s quirkiest perpetrators of criminal mischief, including… Pearl Hart, Arizona’s diminutive “Lady Bandit” and the West’s only known female stagecoach robber; Rufus Nephews, a.k.a. “Climax Jim”, the clown prince of Arizona’s ne’er-do-wells whose naked villainy is indelibly etched into the annals of outlawry; Burt Alvord, a Cochise County deputy who used his office to shield his gang of train robbers; Ada Ferrara, an Ashfork madam who dueled a judge’s gavel with one of her silk stockings; Dick Lloyd, a Tombstone outlaw who found out the hard way that when the cards are on the table even your friends don’t appreciate horseplay; and the town of Shakespeare, New Mexico, whose leaders learned that pretentions to culture won’t change human nature. Mike’s history programs this year will feature stories and poems that illustrate two themes: animal antics and outrageous outlawry.
