100th Hingham Historic House Tour (Hingham)

The Hingham Historical Society is proud to present its 100th Historic House Tour, a beloved Hingham tradition celebrating the remarkable homes, architecture, and history that make our community distinctive. This milestone tour during America’s 250th features eight private homes, three historic public buildings, and all three Hingham Historical Society museums: the Hingham Heritage Museum, the 1686 Old Ordinary, and the Benjamin Lincoln House, a National Historic Landmark. Settled in 1635, Hingham is one of America’s oldest communities, with an extraordinary concentration of historic architecture spanning nearly four centuries. Our 100th House Tour offers a rare opportunity to step inside some of Hingham’s most fascinating properties and discover the people, craftsmanship, architecture, and stories that have shaped the town. Your ticket Includes admission to all eight private homes, three public buildings, and three Hingham Historical Society museums, as well as our special America’s 250th exhibition and Tea Room at the Hingham Heritage Museum, where guests can pause for complimentary refreshments during the tour. Your ticket book is a guide with a brief history and map of every property on the tour. After purchasing your tickets online, please pick them up at the Hingham Heritage Museum, 34 Main Street, beginning Tuesday, September 22. Ticket pickup will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through the day of the tour. Each ticket includes a complete list and map of the featured properties, along with parking information.
