12th Annual Crantoberfest (Middleborough)

There will be dozens of vendors and food options as well as a beer garden hosted by the Bartending Service of New England. Enjoy festive German music while the kids have a blast with corn hole, cranberry races, and various other activities. Don’t miss Cape Cod Cranberries’ Traveling Cranberry Bog where you can see a live cranberry bog and ecosystem and ask questions about cranberry cultivation. There will be Vendors, Food, Beer Garden, Miss Crantoberfest Contest, Costume Contest, Kid’s Activities and a Bake Off. Free Admission and Free Parking. Featured events include: 1:00 PM – the Great Cranberry Bake-Off with first, second, and third-place prizes awarded for Home Bakers and a special prize awarded to a Professional Baker. Prizes include a gift card to Hannaford’s and bragging rights. Please drop off your entries between noon and 1:00 PM at the Tourism Booth and include a list of ingredients and enough goodies for 5 judges to sample. Also, please do not write your name on the entry as a number will be assigned to you when you drop off your entry. 2:00 PM – is the Ms/Mr. Crantoberfest contest. Contestants will test their knowledge of the cranberry industry and showcase their Middleborough pride. The winner will receive a cranberry-colored crown and sash and represent the Tourism Committee throughout the year. 3:00 PM – the Annual Costume Parade will commence with prizes for 2 age groups: 8 years and younger and 9 years and older. Attention Vendors! The vendor fee is $75 for a 10×10 foot space and we still have a few spots left. To receive an application, email [email protected].
