Come buzz, crawl, and explore with us at Benson’s Pond Cranberry Farm for a special Homeschool “Bog Bug” Day. Join us on our family cranberry farm in Middleborough (Carver/Wareham line) for a hands-on learning day focused on the bugs that call our bogs home. We grow cranberries using regenerative, nature-friendly practices—farming with nature, just like the bog bugs do. Tickets: $18 per person | Children 2 & under free Walk-ins welcome if not sold out (pre-registration recommended) What’s Included: Learn about bees, spiders, cranberry weevils, and other bog bugs Create your own “Bog in a Cup” to take home Educational bog AND StoryWalk Family yard games — bring a picnic Wagon rides around the bogs JJ’s Ice Cream Truck will be on site for cool treats Special Guests: FoxRock BEE Farm — discover why pollinators matter Ocean Spray Cranberries Agriculture Scientists will discuss the cranberry WEEVI, SPIDERS, and other BOG BUGS. Kids can take a turn “sweeping” the bog to see what they find. Our Homeschool Day turns the bog into a living classroom—sparking curiosity and connecting children to the natural world.
