Meet Benjamin Nye – Demo and Tour (Sandwich)

Join the Nye Museum on Sunday, September 13 to meet Benjamin Nye, the patriarch of the historic Nye Family Homestead located in East Sandwich. Mike Welch, local historian, history teacher, and reenactor will portray Benjamin Nye, the miller and farmer, and give a first-hand woodworking demonstration in the old mill. He will then take you on a guided tour of the first level of Nye Homestead & invite you “into his home” to learn more about his life in the 17th century. Guided tours at 1:00PM, 2:00PM & 3:00PM.
