Enjoy a unique Early American tavern experience and learn of the role that cider played during revolutionary times. The evening begins at 5PM as Norbert Sack from Sandy Neck Cider delivers an engaging presentation from cider’s ancient roots to its history in revolutionary inns and taverns on Cape Cod and beyond. The presentation is followed by the hard cider tasting from Sandy Neck Cider Company—including their special 250th anniversary Revolutionary Dry! Finally, mingle on the Nye lawn and listen to live classic fiddle tunes with Amy Larkin as you make your way to The Benjamin Nye & Katherine Tupper Homestead Museum to enjoy a tour of the newly interpreted Nye Tavern and Taproom. Tickets for this experience are $25 members/$35 non-members and all proceeds will benefit the Nye Museum. Tickets can be purchased Here or on the Event Website or by calling 508-888-4213.
