Join preservation consultant Andrew Roblee, Founder and President of Roblee Historic Preservation, LLC, for a fascinating look at how communities across three continents protect the places that define their history and identity. Drawing on projects ranging from local preservation efforts in the US to wartime cultural heritage work in Ukraine and UNESCO World Heritage conservation in Pakistan, this presentation explores the universal challenges and shared values that connect preservation around the world. Bio: Andrew (Andy) Roblee is the Founder and President of Roblee Historic Preservation, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in historic preservation planning, architectural history, and cultural resource management. He meets the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualification Standards for Architecture and Historic Architecture and has prepared National Register nominations, historic resource surveys, preservation plans, tax credit applications, and Heritage Impact Assessments for clients throughout the United States and internationally. Andy is a co-founder of the NaUKMA Research Center for Heritage Preservation and Recovery in Kyiv and has served as President of the Preservation Association of Central New York and is committed to advancing preservation through advocacy, education, and community engagement.
