Beginner Photography Workshop Sunday, November 8th | 2:00 PM – Approximately 4:30 PM Shade Mountain Winery 16140 PA-104, Middleburg, PA 17842 Do you have a camera sitting at home that you wish you knew how to use? Are you tired of relying on Auto mode and want to learn how to capture better photographs of your family, your children, or everyday moments? Join me for a hands-on Beginner Photography Workshop at the beautiful Shade Mountain Winery! This workshop is a great opportunity for parents, grandparents, and anyone who wants to learn how to get more out of their camera. We’ll talk about techniques you can use when photographing your children’s school events, sports, activities, and everyday moments — including ways to capture those genuine, natural smiles instead of always asking your kids to “say cheese!” What We’ll Cover Manual camera settings — learn what your camera is actually doing and how to take control of your images Natural lighting — learn how to recognize and work with the light around you What makes a good photograph — composition, perspective, timing, and more Capturing natural expressions — tips for getting authentic smiles and genuine moments from your kids Photographing action and activities — useful techniques for school and sports events Hands-on practice — plenty of opportunities to try what you’re learning and ask questions Sunset photography — we’ll wrap up with an outdoor sunset photoshoot in the vineyards with a special model, weather permitting And while you learn, you may purchase a bottle of wine from Shade Mountain Winery and enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres as part of the experience! I’m also incredibly excited to have Anna Trayer with Anna T Photography assisting with the workshop! Having a second photographer there means we’ll be able to give you more one-on-one attention and make sure your questions are answered throughout the afternoon. What to Bring: Please bring your own DSLR camera. Any brand or model is welcome! I will have a very limited number of extra cameras available, so bringing your own camera is strongly encouraged. Come ready to learn, practice, ask questions, enjoy some wine and hors d’oeuvres, and most importantly — have fun with your camera!
