About this event
One of 6 upcoming events at Shafer Leadership Academy.
Great ideas don’t create impact unless decision-makers understand their value. Whether you’re requesting resources, proposing a new initiative, recommending a change, or simply trying to move an idea forward, knowing how to make a compelling case can make the difference between “maybe” and “yes.” In this session, we’ll explore a practical framework for gaining support from decisionmakers. Participants will reflect on a real situation where they needed leadership support and work through a step-by-step approach for framing their recommendation in terms leaders care about most, like organizational priorities, measurable outcomes, risk, and resource investment. Learning Objectives Frame ideas around organizational goals and strategic priorities. Build a clear, credible case using evidence, impact, and outcomes. Anticipate leadership questions and address potential concerns before they arise. Communicate recommendations clearly and confidently to decisionmakers.
