Campus Wide, Ranch House, Mercantile, “Curious Cures: The Wild History of Staying Alive,” Saturday, June 13, 2026 Life in the West was full of illness, from cholera to influenza. Pioneers relied on a mix of folk remedies, herbal cures, and early medical practices to survive. Explore the diseases that challenged settlers and the creative ways they sought healing. Visitors will learn about treating illness on the frontier and explore a variety of medical tools from Arizona’s past. Living History Adventure is included with General Admission and Membership.
