Fort Misery, “Frontier Timber & Territorial Beginnings,” Saturday, August 8, 2026 Fort Misery at the Sharlot Hall Museum is the oldest known surviving pioneer in Arizona history. Cabins like Fort Misery tell the stories of pioneers who carved a life for themselves in Prescott, Arizona. Pioneers built their homes from the ground up, using the resources that were available in their environment. Visitors will discover how pioneers built their homes in the Arizona territory, learn how log cabins have been maintained over time, and even have the chance to make and take home their very own “log cabin”. Living History Adventure is included with General Admission and Membership.
