Experience a story of challenge, devotion, and the heroic bond between a son and his mother that still resonates today. Don Baier brings decades of aviation knowledge, storytelling, and historical expertise to every stage he takes. As a former Air Force officer and retired commercial airline Captain, Don also served 34 years as a docent at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, where he shared aviation history with audiences from around the world. His lifelong passion for flight and deep respect for those who served in the skies give his presentations both authenticity and heart. Drawing on archival letters, photos, and firsthand accounts, Don brings historical figures and moments to life, making the stories of flight — and the people who lived them — vivid and unforgettable.
