Introducing our newest fall event for dahlia lovers & dahlia growers: Best In Bloom! Whether you grow dahlias yourself or just love them, Best In Bloom is a celebration for everyone. This joyful weekend funds a packed calendar of lectures & exhibitions, educational visits, and keeps the museum a vibrant gathering place. How to Enter Your Dahlias Entry is free and open to all local gardeners. Categories You do not need to decide now which category or categories you are going to enter. Note: there is a limit of 12 stems entered per gardener. You can enter multiple flowers in each category; however, you do not need to enter in every category. Dinner Plate Ball and Pompom Anemone and Collarette Single and Peony Flowered Cactus and Semi-Cactus Water Lily Deadline & Additional Information Register by September 10th to reserve your spot. Plan on dropping off your cut flowers Saturday, September 26th between noon and 4 pm. We will have vases ready for your stems! Cocktail Party & Preview On Saturday night, join us for a festive cocktail party and preview the historic Gay-Hoyt House filled to the brim with flowers. Weekend Schedule Saturday, September 26th Noon–4 pm: Gardeners drop off blooms 5pm: Cocktail Party & Preview – $75 / ticket Sunday, September 27th Noon–4pm: Dahlia Festival Open House & People’s Choice Award Voting Sunday Open House is free and open to all!
