The Sheridan welcomes Rainbow City Jazz Band for the first time! Their song catalogue spans classic big band, blues, funk, and pop music, so make sure to bring your dancing shoes! It is a mission of the band to uplift music created by and for unrepresented communities such as the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, along with the classics we all know and love. The Jazz Band is part of the greater umbrella organization of Rainbow City. They have groups including a concert band, orchestra, marching band, chamber ensembles, color guard/drum line, and Reign City Riot. They also perform at private events, fundraisers, and second lines. Rainbow City’s mission is to create a diverse and inclusive environment for musical expression that promotes the equity and visibility of people in the LGBTQIA+ community. This is an All Ages Event Please 🎤 Support Live Music! 🎶 $10 suggested donation goes directly to the band! Doors open at 6 PM and show starts at 7!
