Gouache Painting Workshop: Koi Fish Waterscape

Join us for a fun and informative gouache painting workshop. In this hands-on, beginner friendly class, instructor Ruby will guide participants in exploring the unique qualities of Gouache. She will guide you through the fundamentals of the medium such as color mixing, layering, and brush techniques. All supplies are provided for students to create a unique and whimsical koi fish waterscape. All materials are provided. Instructor Bio Ruby Michelle is an illustrator, designer, educator and owner of Blank Story Creative Studio. She has her BFA in studio art and certifications in fashion illustration and children's book illustration. She loves to create colorful art inspired by Asian culture, street fashion, nature, pop surrealism, and daily life. Ruby currently works as a full-time artist and has been teaching art classes and workshops for almost 15 years. She has also exhibited throughout California as well as internationally in Japan and illustrates for books, fashion, stationery, murals, and more.
