Intuitive Painting at Sierra 2 Center

Intuitive Painting at Sierra 2 Center is not about making a "perfect" painting.  Creativity is not about getting it "right" or knowing what you're doing before you begin. There are no rules to memorize, no checklists to follow, and no experience required. What helps creativity grow is something much simpler-and much kinder: time and love. Time to explore.  Time to try. Time to love the uniqueness of who you are and what you bring to the world.  Whether you're brand new to painting or curious about intuitive art, this Sunday morning studio is a welcoming place to begin.  Intuitive Painting at the Sierra 2 Center is a supportive creative session designed especially for beginners and those wanting to try intuitive painting for the first time. You're invited to show up exactly as you are with no pressure and no expectations, just curiosity and a willingness to play.  Each class begins with a gentle group check-in, an introduction to intuitive painting, and a simple demonstration of materials and tools. We'll work primarily with acrylic paint and a variety of mixed media supplies from my home studio. From there, you'll be guided into painting at your own pace and letting your work evolve naturally.   This class is not about making a perfect painting. It's about learning to trust yourself, loosen up, and discover what happens when you paint with curiosity instead of judgment.  What to Expect A relaxed, beginner friendly Sunday morning.  Clear guidance and simple demos (no prior knowledge needed). Lots of materials to try and play with. Uninterrupted time to paint, explore, and build confidence.  Supplies Provided 12x12" canvas for each participant A variety of acrylic paints to test Creative mark-making tools (stencils, stamps, sponges etc.)  Mixed media supplies (collage, oil pastel, paint pens etc.) Table top easels. Please bring your own acrylic paints and brushes. You are also welcome to purchase an art kit including a set of brushes and acrylic paints for $25.    Instructor Bio: Cara Gregor is an intuitive painter, maker, and creative guide in Sacramento Ca.
